What We Believe

Dual Diagnosis Mission Statement

It is the mission of Creative Care to provide compassionate, professional care within innovative models of dual diagnosis treatment. We ensure long-term recovery for persons seeking to address co-occurring mental health conditions in support of improving their quality of life.

Creative Care believes in understanding early experiences and underlying causes that manifest as substance use and other mental health disorders throughout adulthood. In fact, we consider this a core component of successful recovery.

Creative Care believes in a biopsychosocial approach within a psychoanalytic framework of evidence-based practices. We believe this is optimal for supporting Clients and their families on the road to recovery.

Additionally, Creative Care believes in collaborative, compassionate care facilitated by dedicated professional employees. This is a key component for improving the quality of life of the persons served.

Furthermore, Creative Care believes that person-centered care, implemented through individualized treatment based on the needs of each person served, is supportive of optimal recovery-based outcomes.

Finally, Creative Care believes innovative approaches to dual diagnosis treatment, developed by its dedicated founders/owners, provide a foundation for long-term, spiritually-based recovery.

Creative Care’s Dual Diagnosis Treatment Program is a multi-faceted recovery program that evaluates, identifies, and addresses challenges to sustainable recovery. Inpatient Dual Diagnosis treatment at Creative Care is built on evidence-based practices along with a best-in-class interdisciplinary clinical services team. For example, these services include individual, group, and family counseling sessions. Additionally, we teach our clients coping skills, stress management, and relaxation techniques. Finally, in the interest of aftercare, we offer alumni groups and support to promote a lasting recovery. It has been our mission to help people recover from a variety of mental health disorders for over 31 years.
